On May 1, the KÉSZ Group Balatonfondo, Hungary’s largest road cycling event, will be held for the third time. The two-day event in Balatonfüred will feature not only exciting races, but also exhibitors, community programs, and special guests.
The program begins already on April 30, when participants can pick up their race packages between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM at the Kisfaludy Gallery in Balatonfüred. On-site registration will also be available. That same day, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the Balatonfondo Expo opens at Vitorlás Square, where our exhibition partners await visitors with discounts and demonstrations.
A special event adds color to the April 30 program:
Between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM at the Kisfaludy Gallery, you can meet Attila Valter, the event ambassador, in person. He’ll be available for autographs and photos with fans of the sport. Ati is once again delighted to serve as ambassador, as the KÉSZ Group Balatonfondo has become one of his favorite domestic events. Naturally, he will also participate in the race this year.
On the morning of May 1, race package pickup continues from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM, and registration for the children's race will be available on-site from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Kisfaludy Gallery. Meanwhile, the Balatonfondo Expo continues from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Vitorlás Square. The official start of the KÉSZ Group Balatonfondo will be at 8:30 AM.
The finish lines await participants in the heart of Balatonfüred, on Zákonyi Ferenc Street:

A cutoff point will be established after Vöröstó: Riders arriving at the T-junction more than 30 minutes behind the lead group will continue on the Mediofondo route with a new race number and will still receive an official result.
(Organizers reserve the right to change the program and route.)
